RLF was formed in 2004 to support Governor Sonny Perdue by helping elect Republicans to the Georgia General Assembly. Senator David Shafer is our Honorary Chairman. RLF was involved in ten key state legislative races in the 2004 election cycle. In the 2006 election cycle, we helped nearly two dozen candidates in key races, both statewide and legislative. Our efforts have been endorsed by Governor Perdue, Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle and Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine, among others. We will be active again in the 2008 election cycle supporting good Republican candidates. RLF is run by volunteers to keep overhead low.
